Korean Glass Skin Facial with PDRN in Overland Park, KS

Korean skincare, layered hydration and the luminous glass skin glow

Bring one of Korea’s most talked-about skincare approaches to your routine, right here in Overland Park.

The Korean Glass Skin Facial at RSVP Med Spa is a noninvasive, Korean-inspired facial combining dermaplaning, professional Rejuran® Korean skincare with c-PDRN®, a hydrating Korean sheet mask and gua sha facial massage.

Designed for clients throughout Overland Park, Leawood and the Kansas City area, this treatment deeply hydrates, smooths and refreshes the appearance of your skin while creating the soft, luminous finish associated with Korean glass skin.

Our facial currently features Rejuran® Korean skincare with c-PDRN®, giving clients an opportunity to experience one of the most recognizable names associated with Korean PDRN skincare in a relaxing, topical facial.

The signature treatment already includes dermaplaning, a hydrating Korean sheet mask and gua sha. From there, you can personalize your experience with enhancements such as Laser Genesis, customized peels, LED light therapy, extractions, enzyme treatments, scalp massage, targeted or full-body massage, hand treatments, a foot peel, brow services and lash services.

No needles. No injections. No microneedling. Just professional Korean skincare customized for your skin.

What Makes a Korean Glass Skin Facial Different?

Traditional facials often center on cleansing, exfoliation and extractions. The Korean Glass Skin Facial takes a more layered, hydration-focused approach inspired by Korean skincare.

Our signature treatment combines:

  • Gentle cleansing and skin assessment
  • Dermaplaning
  • Layered Korean hydration
  • Rejuran® c-PDRN® skincare
  • A hydrating Korean sheet mask
  • Gua sha facial massage
  • Skin-barrier support
  • Moisturizer and sun protection
  • A smooth, supple and luminous finish

The goal of “glass skin” is not oily or artificially shiny skin. It is skin that appears hydrated, smooth, even and naturally radiant because it is well moisturized and cared for.

While the signature components remain consistent, your treatment is still personalized. Products and techniques can be adjusted according to dryness, sensitivity, visible redness, congestion, uneven texture and your overall skin condition.

What Is PDRN Skincare?

Smiling young woman with freshly restored hair and skin.

PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide, a DNA-fragment ingredient that has become increasingly prominent in Korean skincare and aesthetic medicine.

In topical skincare, PDRN is incorporated into formulations designed to support hydration, skin comfort and a healthier-looking complexion. It has become especially popular in Korean beauty routines for skin that appears dry, stressed, dull or depleted.

Topical PDRN skincare may help support the appearance of:

  • Softer, smoother skin
  • Improved hydration
  • A more supple complexion
  • Greater visible luminosity
  • A refreshed appearance
  • A healthy-looking skin barrier

PDRN is only one part of the treatment. What makes the Korean Glass Skin Facial different is the complete protocol of professional Korean skincare, dermaplaning, layered hydration, topical PDRN, a hydrating sheet mask, gua sha and thoughtful customization for your individual skin.

Currently Featuring Rejuran® Korean Skincare

An image of a toned woman's body.

Our Korean Glass Skin Facial currently incorporates professional Rejuran® Korean skincare with c-PDRN®.

Rejuran has become one of the most recognizable names associated with PDRN-based Korean aesthetics and skincare. Using Rejuran allows us to bring this popular Korean skincare technology into a professional facial while maintaining the gentle, topical experience many clients are looking for.

However, the Korean Glass Skin Facial is an RSVP Med Spa treatment, not a product-specific facial.

As Korean skincare continues to evolve, RSVP Med Spa may incorporate other professional Korean skincare products when we believe they are an excellent fit for the treatment.

This allows the facial itself to remain focused on what matters most: Korean skincare principles, topical PDRN, hydration, skin-barrier support and a luminous glass skin finish.

This Is a Topical Facial, Not Injectable Rejuran. Professional Rejuran skincare is applied topically as part of the facial.

Rejuran is also known internationally for injectable polynucleotide and PDRN treatments. That is not what is performed during this facial. At RSVP Med Spa, we utilize Rejuran PDRN Healing Essence after microneedling, laser resurfacing, IPL, or laser genesis.

If you are researching PDRN used with other aesthetic procedures, visit our PDRN Skincare & Treatment Enhancement page to learn more.

Benefits of the Korean Glass Skin Facial

The Korean Glass Skin Facial may be an excellent choice when your skin looks or feels:

  • Dry or dehydrated
  • Dull
  • Rough
  • Tight
  • Tired
  • Stressed
  • Uneven in texture
  • Less radiant than usual
  • Difficult to apply makeup over smoothly
  • In need of a pre-event refresh

Dermaplaning helps create a smoother surface, while layered Korean skincare, topical PDRN and the hydrating sheet mask replenish moisture. Gua sha adds a relaxing finishing component while helping temporarily reduce the appearance of facial puffiness.

Many clients notice that their skin feels softer, smoother and more hydrated immediately after treatment.

The Korean Glass Skin Facial can be enjoyed as an occasional glow treatment, before a special event or as part of a regular skincare-maintenance routine.

What Happens During the Korean Glass Skin Facial?

Your appointment begins with a brief assessment of your skin, current skincare, recent procedures and goals.

The exact protocol may be adjusted according to your skin, but your signature Korean Glass Skin Facial generally includes:

1

Gentle Cleansing + Skin Assessment

Makeup, sunscreen, oil and surface impurities are carefully removed while your provider evaluates hydration, sensitivity, visible redness, congestion and overall skin condition.

2

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning gently removes superficial dead skin buildup and fine vellus hair, often called peach fuzz.

This helps create an immediately smoother surface, can help makeup apply more evenly and contributes to the polished finish associated with glass skin.

If dermaplaning is not appropriate for your skin on the day of treatment, your provider may modify this portion of your facial.

3

Layered Korean Hydration + Rejuran c-PDRN Skincare

Professional Korean skincare is applied in layers to replenish moisture and support a softer, more supple complexion.

Our facial currently features Rejuran® skincare formulated with c-PDRN®, along with complementary hydrating and barrier-supportive skincare selected for your skin.

4

Hydrating Korean Sheet Mask

A hydrating Korean sheet mask is applied to saturate the skin with moisture and complement the layered skincare underneath.

This step helps create the plump, refreshed and luminous appearance associated with the Korean glass skin look.

5

Gua Sha Facial Massage

Gua sha facial massage is incorporated into the treatment for relaxation and to help temporarily reduce the appearance of facial puffiness.

The smooth massage technique complements the hydrating skincare while creating a refreshed, rested appearance.

6

Neck + Shoulder Massage and Finishing Skincare

A brief neck and shoulder massage is included when appropriate, adding another relaxing element to the facial.

The treatment is completed with selected finishing products, moisturizer and broad-spectrum sunscreen during daytime appointments.

Want more relaxation or more correction? Customize your facial with one or more of our optional enhancements.

Make It Yours: Customize Your Korean Glass Skin Facial

Dermaplaning, a hydrating Korean sheet mask, gua sha facial massage and a brief neck and shoulder massage are already included in your Korean Glass Skin Facial.

From there, choose additional skincare, beauty and wellness treatments according to your goals.

Laser Genesis

Take your glow treatment a step further with Laser Genesis, a gentle nonablative laser treatment that can improve the appearance of diffuse redness, uneven-looking tone, visible pores and textural irregularities.

It pairs especially well with the hydration-focused Korean facial for clients seeking brighter, more polished-looking skin with minimal downtime.

Best for: Redness, dullness, uneven-looking tone, pores and texture.

Customized Chemical Peel

Add more targeted exfoliation for concerns such as:

  • Dullness
  • Congestion
  • Rough texture
  • Uneven-looking tone
  • Superficial discoloration
  • Mild acne-related concerns

Your provider will choose the type and strength of peel according to your skin type, sensitivity, pigment history and goals.

Enzyme Treatment or Mask

Prefer gentler exfoliation?

An enzyme treatment helps soften dull surface buildup and refresh the complexion without requiring a traditional chemical peel.

Gentle Extractions

Add targeted extractions to help clear clogged pores, blackheads and surface congestion.

Extractions are performed only where appropriate and may be modified or avoided for inflamed, highly sensitive or recently treated skin.

LED Light Therapy

Add relaxing, painless LED light therapy based on your skin’s needs.

Selected wavelengths may be used to support:

  • A calm, refreshed appearance
  • Blemish-focused skincare
  • Skin recovery
  • Overall skin wellness

Targeted Body Massage

Want more than the brief neck and shoulder massage included with your facial?

Add a targeted massage focused on the areas where you carry the most tension, such as the upper body, neck, shoulders, back, arms or legs.

Full-Body Massage

Turn your Korean Glass Skin Facial into a complete self-care experience by pairing it with a full-body massage, either Swedish or Deep Tissue massage.

This is ideal when you want both results-focused skincare and dedicated relaxation during the same visit.

Hydrating Eye Mask

Add a targeted eye mask to deeply hydrate and refresh the delicate under-eye area. It helps soften the appearance of dryness and fine dehydration lines while leaving the eye area looking smoother, brighter and more rested.

Foot Peel

Refresh dry, rough feet with a targeted foot peel designed to exfoliate built-up surface skin and help the feet feel smoother and softer over time.

It is an easy way to extend your self-care appointment beyond the face.

Brow Shaping + Tint

Finish your refreshed look with professional brow shaping, tinting or both.

A polished brow can frame the face and complement the makeup-optional appearance of freshly treated skin.

Lash Lift + Tint

Enhance your natural lashes with a lash lift, tint or both for a darker, more elevated appearance without daily mascara or an eyelash curler.

Lash services are especially popular before vacations, weddings, photography and special events.

Who Is a Good Candidate?

The Korean Glass Skin Facial may be appropriate for many skin types and ages.

It may be a good choice if you:

  • Want a hydrating facial without injections
  • Are interested in Korean skincare or K-beauty
  • Want to experience topical PDRN
  • Want to try Rejuran skincare professionally
  • Want smoother-looking skin with dermaplaning
  • Prefer a gentle, customizable facial
  • Want little or no visible downtime
  • Are preparing for an event or vacation
  • Have dry, dull or tired-looking skin
  • Want skin maintenance between advanced treatments
  • Want to combine skincare with relaxation or beauty services

Your facial may need to be postponed or modified if you have active sunburn, open wounds, significant irritation, infection, uncontrolled dermatitis or another skin condition that makes treatment inappropriate.

Tell us about prescription skincare, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding, allergies, recent aesthetic procedures and any history of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Because some PDRN ingredients are salmon-derived, please let your provider know about any fish or skincare ingredient allergies so the products planned for your facial can be reviewed.

Results and Downtime

The standard Korean Glass Skin Facial generally requires little or no downtime.

Immediately after treatment, your skin may look or feel:

  • Softer
  • Smoother
  • More hydrated
  • Refreshed
  • More luminous

Temporary pinkness may occur after dermaplaning, massage, extractions or other exfoliation.

Downtime and aftercare may change when the facial is combined with a chemical peel, Laser Genesis or another advanced enhancement.

For ongoing skin maintenance, many clients schedule facials approximately every three to four weeks. Your provider can recommend a treatment schedule based on your skin and goals.

Before and After Your Facial

Before your appointment, tell us about:

  • Recent lasers, peels or skin resurfacing
  • Surgery or injectable treatments
  • Microneedling or RF microneedling
  • Prescription retinoids
  • Strong exfoliating products
  • Allergies or known skincare sensitivities
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

Please let us know if you have an active rash, cold sore, infection, sunburn or significant irritation.

After your facial:

  • Cleanse gently
  • Moisturize as needed
  • Wear broad-spectrum sunscreen
  • Avoid unnecessary scrubs or picking
  • Delay strong acids, exfoliants or retinoids if advised
  • Follow any special instructions provided for your selected add-ons

Your provider will customize your aftercare according to exactly what was performed.

Yes. Dermaplaning is included in the signature Korean Glass Skin Facial. It gently removes superficial dead skin buildup and fine vellus hair to create a smoother surface and enhance the polished glass skin finish.

If dermaplaning is not appropriate for your skin on the day of treatment, your provider can modify this step.

Yes. Gua sha facial massage is included. It adds a relaxing component to the treatment and may temporarily help reduce the appearance of facial puffiness while complementing the hydrating skincare.

The facial is primarily designed for dryness, dehydration, dullness, rough surface texture, fine dehydration lines and a tired-looking complexion. It focuses on hydration, smoothness, comfort and radiance rather than treatment of severe acne or medical skin disease.

Many acne-prone clients can receive a customized version. Gentle extractions or appropriate exfoliation may be added when indicated. Dermaplaning may be modified or avoided over active inflammatory acne, open lesions or significantly irritated skin.

The standard facial generally has little or no visible downtime. Temporary pinkness is possible after dermaplaning, massage, extractions or exfoliation. Downtime may be different if a chemical peel, laser or another advanced treatment is added.

Optional enhancements may include Laser Genesis, chemical peels, enzyme treatments, extractions, LED light therapy, eye mask, targeted body massage, full-body massage, a foot peel, brow shaping or tinting, and lash lifting or tinting.

Many traditional PDRN skincare ingredients are derived from salmon DNA and therefore are not considered vegan. If you have a fish allergy or known skincare sensitivity, tell your provider before treatment so the exact products and ingredient lists planned for your facial can be reviewed.
