What is Botox?

Procedure

Before

Before the treatment, you will have a consultation with Dr. Selena Fu or one of our skilled injector specialists, who will listen to your concerns and design a personalized treatment plan to reach your goals. Once you are at your appointment, your injector may numb the injection area. Numbing can be done with anesthetic, ice, and vibration anesthesia.

During

Your injector will use a thin needle to inject small amounts of botulinum toxin into the skin and muscles. The number of units and syringes will depend on your area of treatment. The process typically takes under 30 minutes.

After

Botox injections quickly kick in and start showing noticeable results only days after the treatment. It can take a week or more to notice the full effects of your Botox injections. It is important to schedule your Botox appointments every three to four months to maintain your desired results.
