• How does laser resurfacing work?

  Laser resurfacing works by using concentrated beams of light to remove damaged skin layers and stimulate collagen production, promoting smoother and healthier skin.

• How does radiofrequency with microneedling work?

  Radiofrequency with microneedling combines tiny needles and RF energy to create controlled micro-injuries, stimulating collagen and elastin production for firmer, rejuvenated skin.

• How does Emsculpt work?

  Emsculpt uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) energy to stimulate muscle contractions, building muscle and burning fat simultaneously. Popular areas include abdomen, buttocks, thighs, arms, and legs.

• How does TruSculpt ID work?

  TruSculpt ID uses radiofrequency energy to target and permanently destroy fat cells, contourning and slimming specific areas of the body, such as abdomen, flanks, sides, buttocks, bra line, neck.

• Can Botox help with medical conditions like eyelid spasms?

  Yes, Neurotoxin like Botox can be used to treat conditions like blepharospasm (involuntary eyelid twitching) and hemifacial spasm. It works by relaxing the muscles responsible for the spasms, providing relief for several months.

• How can I prepare for my consultation?

• What is oculoplastic surgery?

• What conditions do oculoplastic surgeons treat?

• Will insurance cover my oculoplastic surgery?

  Insurance may cover procedures deemed medically necessary, such as those to improve vision or treat conditions like a blocked tear duct or eyelid malposition. Cosmetic surgeries, like those performed for aesthetic purposes, are typically not covered.

• Are there risks associated with oculoplastic surgery?

  All surgeries carry some risks, but complications in oculoplastic procedures are rare. Potential risks include infection, bleeding, scarring, or asymmetry, etc. Your surgeon will discuss these risks and how they are minimized during your consultation.

• How long do results from cosmetic procedures like blepharoplasty last?

  Results from blepharoplasty are typically long-lasting. Upper eyelid surgery can last 10–15 years, while lower eyelid surgery results last longer. Aging and lifestyle factors may influence longevity.
