JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC injectable gel is the first and only filler FDA-approved for deep injection in the cheek area to correct age-related volume loss. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC is for patients over the age of 21. It’s a hyaluronic acid filler that can create a more youthful appearance by restoring lost volume. For some patients, it can avoid the need for plastic surgery altogether.

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in your skin that binds to moisture, adding volume and hydration. As you age, you start to lose HA, which causes the skin to lose structure and volume. When hyaluronic acid fillers are injected into the treatment area, they can create a more sculpted appearance with natural looking results.

It’s different than JUVÉDERM® XC and works on a different area of the face. JUVÉDERM® XC smoothes out moderate to severe wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth, like parentheses lines, marionette lines, or nasolabial folds.
