Dr. Selena Fu studied biology and graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Irvine. She earned her medical degree from the prestigious Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. After an internship at UCLA Olive View Medical Center, Dr. Fu pursued an Ophthalmology residency at the renowned Baylor College of Medicine.
Her interest in ophthalmic plastic surgery led her to complete an advanced fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at the University of Texas, Southwestern. The services she provides include blepharoplasty/eyelid lift, removal of eye “bags” or excess eyelid skin, eyebrow lift, injection of botox, fillers, such as Juvederm, and cosmetic facial rejuvenation treatment. She also specializes in reconstructive procedures such as droopy eyelid repair, eyelid tumor excision, orbital fracture repair, and lacrimal / tear duct surgeries. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. She has published articles in major scientific journals and authored and presented papers at annual meetings of national ophthalmology organizations. She is actively involved in teaching the latest techniques in ophthalmology and cosmetic surgery through hands-on instruction and international lecturing.
Dr. Fu practiced for years in Ohio and California before relocating to the Kansas area in 2015. Her goal is to provide excellent personalized patient care in all areas of eye care. As a board-certified Oculoplastic surgery specialist, she provides customized care while utilizing all of her skills and training to achieve the best possible result in each case. She is truly committed to achieving the highest level of cosmetic and reconstructive results while preserving vision and improving her patient’s quality of life.
